Introduction About EASYFIVE TT INJECTIONPFS
EASYFIVE TT INJECTIONPFS is a combination of Diphtheria Immune Globulin, Haemophilus B Conjugate Vaccine, Hepatitis B, Pertussis Toxoid and Tetanus Toxoid which belongs to the group of Combined Vaccines (Pentavalent vaccine). It is given as a primary vaccination against Diphtheria, Tetanus, Whooping Cough, Hepatitis caused by Hepatitis B virus, and Disease caused by H. influenzae Type b in new-borns and children from the age of 6 weeks up to the age of 6 years.
EASYFIVE TT INJECTIONPFS should not be given if your children had a severe reaction to the combination vaccine's first dose; injected into a child's buttocks, it may cause sciatic nerve injury; injected into the skin, because that can cause a local reaction; or as a birth dose.
EASYFIVE TT INJECTIONPFS is not recommended for use by pregnant or breastfeeding women. EASYFIVE TT INJECTIONPFS is not recommended for use in children with a history of fits, unusual cerebral symptoms throughout birth, or some severe neurological abnormalities.
The most common side effects of receiving EASYFIVE TT INJECTIONPFS are erythema (redness), pain, tenderness (feeling pain during touch), swelling and hardening at the site of injection, a small lump at the injection site, high fever, drowsiness, irritability, loss of appetite, vomiting irritability, and continuously crying. Contact your doctor if any of the symptoms get worse.

EASYFIVE TT INJECTIONPFS will only be administered by a doctor or nurse to the child into muscle as intramuscularly in thigh region or in the arms of children.

Common
- erythema (redness), pain, tenderness (feeling pain during touch), swelling and hardening at the site of injection

How To Manage Side Effects
Injection Site Reactions
Cold compresses method by soaking a clean cloth in cold water, drain out the excess liquid then put the cloth over the injection site to reduce the pain and swelling.

Use In Pediatrics
