    Introduction About DUVADILAN 5MG INJECTION

DUVADILAN 5MG INJECTION contains Isoxsuprine which belongs to the group of medicines called Vasodilators. It is used in the management of premature labor (when the uterus contraction starts for birth too early than usual) or threatened abortion, cerebral vascular insufficiency (poor blood flow to the brain) and arteriosclerosis obliterans (hardening of the arteries).

DUVADILAN 5MG INJECTION is also used to manage Buerger's disease (blood vessels become inflamed, swell and can become blocked with blood clots) and Raynaud’s phenomenon (decreased blood flow to the nose, ears, fingers, toes, nipples or knees). You should avoid participating in any stressful or heavy activities in order to manage premature labor.

Avoid smoking tobacco during DUVADILAN 5MG INJECTION management as it can further constrict your blood vessels. DUVADILAN 5MG INJECTION should not be used immediately postpartum (after delivering a baby) or if you have a bleeding disorder, heart disease, severe anemia, premature detachment of the placenta and premature labor if there is infection.

DUVADILAN 5MG INJECTION should be used in pregnant women only if the potential benefits outweigh the potential risks to mother and her baby. There are no reports of problems with DUVADILAN 5MG INJECTION use in breastfeeding babies but consult your doctor before receiving it.

DUVADILAN 5MG INJECTION is not recommended for use in children. The most common side effects of receiving DUVADILAN 5MG INJECTION are fast heartbeat and vomiting. Contact your physician if any of the symptoms deteriorate.

    Uses Of DUVADILAN 5MG INJECTION

    How DUVADILAN 5MG INJECTION Works

DUVADILAN 5MG INJECTION manages premature labor by managing the contractions of the smooth muscles in the uterus. In peripheral vascular disease, it helps in widening of blood vessels to increase blood flow, thereby improving blood circulation to certain parts of the body (such as the hands, feet and brain).

DUVADILAN 5MG INJECTION will be given to you only by a physician or a nurse into a vein as an intravenous infusion or into a muscle (intramuscular). The correct dose and duration will be decided by your physician for you according to your age, body weight and disease condition.
