    Introduction About DURASALYN PAED LIQUID

DURASALYN PAED LIQUID contains bromhexine, choline theophyllinate, and Salbutamol which belong to the group of medicines called mucolytic agents, and bronchodilators respectively. It is used for the management of asthma, bronchospasm, bronchitis, respiratory diseases, apnoea (shortness of breath) and bradycardia (slower heart rate).

Bronchospasm is a condition where muscles inside the lungs get tightened. Symptoms include coughing, wheezing, tightness in the chest, and tiredness. Bronchitis is an inflammation of the bronchi (the air passage into the lungs), with symptoms of coughing up thickened mucus and shortness of breath.

Before taking DURASALYN PAED LIQUID, inform your doctor if you are suffering from high blood pressure, an overactive thyroid gland, diabetes, heart problems with an increased heart rate, a stomach ulcer, etc. DURASALYN PAED LIQUID is not recommended for pregnant or breastfeeding women. How DURASALYN PAED LIQUID Works

DURASALYN PAED LIQUID contains bromhexine, choline, theophylline, and salbutamol. Bromhexine is a mucolytic agent that manages the hypersecretion of mucus. It works by making your mucus thinner and less viscous so that you can get rid of it easily by coughing. Choline theophyllinate and salbutamol are bronchodilators that relax the muscles of the airways in the lungs and make the airways stay open, which makes it easier to breathe.

Taking salbutamol increases the heart rate, so it is used to manage slower heart rates as well. Theophylline blocks cough reflux by decreasing the excitability of sensory nerves, and thus it helps in the management of cough.
