Introduction About DUPHALAC ORAL SOLUTION
Duphalac Oral Solution is a laxative which is used to manage constipation. It contains Lactulose as active ingredient which helps to increase the number of bowel movements.
Lactulose is a synthetic (man-made) sugar which breaks down in the large intestine and then draws water into the intestine. This softens the stool, which helps to ease constipation.
Dilute the contents of the sachet in 200 ml of water. Shake well before use. Use only the recommended dilutions and do not add extra water, as it may interfere with the dilutions. Consume the prepared solution within 24 hours of reconstitution. Do not mix Duphalac Oral Solution 250ml with milk, soup, or fruit juices. Avoid adding extra sugar or salt to the solution.
