Introduction About DREZ S OINTMENT
DREZ S OINTMENT is a combination of Povidone Iodine, Sucralfate and Tinidazole which belongs to the group of medicines called Topical Antiseptic agents, Protectants and Antiprotozoals respectively. It is indicated to manage cuts, wound, dressing, pre & post operative care, diabetic foot ulcer, bedsore, vaginal ulcer, episiotomy wounds and post caesarean care.
Before using DREZ S OINTMENT tell your doctor if you have or had lung, liver, kidney or heart diseases. Contact your doctor before using. There are limited information on the use of DREZ S OINTMENT in pregnant and breastfeeding women.
Your doctor will prescribe the right dose depends on your child’s age, body weight and severity of the condition. Consult your doctor before using DREZ S OINTMENT. The most common side effects of this medicine are application site reactions such as burning, irritation, itching and redness. Contact your physician if any of the above symptoms worsen.

How DREZ S OINTMENT Works
DREZ S OINTMENT is a combination of Povidone Iodine, Sucralfate and Tinidazole. Povidone Iodine belongs to antiseptics which slowly releases iodine which works against or manages the growth of infectious micro-organisms. Tinidazole belongs to antibiotic which acts against the bacteria and other microorganisms that cause infections by damaging their DNA. Sucralfate belongs to protectant which covers the damaged tissue and protects it against injury to facilitate healing.
How to use DREZ S OINTMENT
Apply DREZ S OINTMENT as advised by the physician. It is for external use only. Your doctor will prescribe the right dose depends on your age, body weight and severity of infection.
