    Introduction About DREZ POWDER

    DREZ POWDER is a combination of Povidone Iodine, Sucralfate and Tinidazole which belongs to the group of medicines called Topical Antiseptic agents, Protectants and Antiprotozoals respectively. It is indicated to manage oozing wounds, cuts, wound, dressing, pre & post operative care, diabetic foot ulcer, bedsore, vaginal ulcer, episiotomy wounds and post caesarean care.

    Before using DREZ POWDER tell your doctor if you have or had lung, liver, kidney or heart diseases. Contact your doctor before using. There are limited information on the use of DREZ POWDER in pregnant and breastfeeding women.

    Your doctor will prescribe the right dose depends on your child’s age, body weight and severity of the condition. Consult your doctor before using DREZ POWDER. The most common side effects of this medicine are application site reactions such as burning, irritation, itching and redness. Contact your physician if any of the above symptoms worsen.

    How DREZ POWDER Works

    DREZ POWDER is a combination of Povidone Iodine, Sucralfate and Tinidazole. Povidone Iodine belongs to antiseptics which slowly releases iodine which works against or manages the growth of infectious micro-organisms. Tinidazole belongs to antibiotic which acts against the bacteria and other microorganisms that cause infections by damaging their DNA. Sucralfate belongs to protectant which covers the damaged tissue and protects it against injury to facilitate healing.

    How to use DREZ POWDER

    Apply DREZ POWDER as advised by the physician. It is for external use only. Sprinkle sufficient quantity of the medicine over the affected area 3 to 4 times a day. Your doctor will prescribe the right dose depends on your age, body weight and severity of infection.
