    Introduction About DONEP SYRUP

DONEP SYRUP contains Donepezil which belongs to the group of medicines called Cholinesterase inhibitors. DONEP SYRUP is used in adults to manage the symptoms of dementia in people diagnosed with mild, moderate and severe Alzheimer’s disease.

Alzheimer's disease is a brain disorder that causes dementia (a group of symptoms that affect memory, thinking and social abilities of a person) by destroying the memory and other important mental functions in the brain which is characterized by memory loss, confusion, and behavioral changes.

Before taking DONEP SYRUP, inform your doctor if you have inherited intolerance to fructose sugar, difficulty passing urine, stomach, or duodenal ulcers, fits or seizures, asthma or long-term lung disease, heart, kidney, or liver disease.

DONEP SYRUP is not recommended for use if you are allergic to Donepezil or piperidine derivatives such as haloperidol, thioridazine.

It should be used during pregnancy unless considered clearly necessary by your doctor. It is not recommended for use in breastfeeding women.

It is also not recommended for use in children and adolescents (below 18 years of age). The most common side effects of taking DONEP SYRUP are diarrhea, nausea, tiredness, difficulty in sleeping, common cold, loss of appetite, hallucinations, and aggressive behavior. Consult and inform your doctor if any of these above side effects gets worse.
