Introduction About DIOVOL FORTE MINT SYRUP
Diovol Forte Mint Syrup is a fast-acting antacid and antiflatulent agent used to relieve symptoms of hyperacidity (increased acid secretion in stomach) like heartburn, epigastric discomfort and flatulence (gas). It contains dimethicone, magnesium hydroxide and aluminium hydroxide as active ingredients to manage indigestion and heartburn.
Aluminium hydroxide and magnesium hydroxide neutralizes hydrochloric acid (acid that helps to digest food) in the stomach and raises the pH of the stomach contents and provides relief from hyperacidity. It also forms a protective covering over the ulcers and reduces the burning sensation. Dimethicone works by reducing the surface tension of gas bubbles that leads to form larger bubbles which can be easily passed out by the means of belching.
Always take Diovol Forte Mint Syrup as advised by the physician. Shake well before use. Take it with food or soon after meals or as suggested by your physician. Do not exceed the recommended dosage. Avoid taking Diovol Forte Mint Syrup if you are allergic to any of its ingredients. It should be taken with caution in pregnant and breastfeeding woman. Consult your doctor before taking it.
