Introduction About DIOFER DS TABLET
Diofer-DS tablet is a hematinic preparation that is used in certain types of anemias and during pregnancy, and lactation. It contains Ferrous fumarate, Vitamin B12 (Cyanocobalamin), and Folic acid as the active ingredients that help in overcoming nutritional deficiency.
Ferrous fumarate acts as a source of iron and helps to manage iron deficiency anemia. Vitamin B12 (Cyanocobalamin) manage Vitamin B12 deficiency, aid in strengthening the nervous system, and enhance red blood cell production. Folic acid stimulates the production of red blood cells, enhances DNA synthesis, and also manages folate deficiency and neural tube defects during pregnancy.
Always take the Diofer-DS tablet as advised by the physician. Swallow the Diofer-DS tablet with a glass of water, do not crush, chew, or break the tablet. Take one table a day or as advised and ensure that you do not exceed the recommended daily dosage.
