How DICLOWIN ASP 3 TABLET Works
It contains a combination of Aceclofenac, Paracetamol, and Serratiopeptidase. Aceclofenac is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that blocks the enzyme (COX) responsible for producing prostaglandins, chemicals in the body that cause pain and inflammation. By inhibiting this enzyme, aceclofenac reduces pain and swelling.
Paracetamol works by reducing the intensity of pain signals sent to the brain and helps regulate body temperature, acting as both a pain reliever and fever reducer. Serratiopeptidase is an enzyme that breaks down proteins involved in inflammation and promotes the removal of dead tissue, reducing swelling and improving healing.
Together, these components help reduce pain, inflammation, and swelling effectively in conditions like arthritis, muscle pain, and joint pain.

FAQs About DICLOWIN ASP 3 TABLET
Q: What is DICLOWIN ASP 3 TABLET used for?
A: DICLOWIN ASP 3 TABLET is used primarily to relieve pain, inflammation, and swelling in conditions involving musculoskeletal issues, such as osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, and joint or muscle injuries. Additionally, it is commonly prescribed to manage pain after surgeries, dental procedures, or traumatic injuries. This combination medication offers targeted relief for moderate to severe pain and associated inflammation.
Q: Is DICLOWIN ASP 3 TABLET a strong painkiller?
A: Yes, DICLOWIN ASP 3 TABLET is considered a strong painkiller. It combines aceclofenac (an NSAID that reduces pain and inflammation), paracetamol (a pain-reliever and fever reducer), and serratiopeptidase (an enzyme that reduces swelling and inflammation). Together, these ingredients provide potent relief from moderate to severe pain, making it effective in managing conditions where inflammation and muscle pain are present. This combination makes it stronger than medications containing only one type of pain-relief component.
Q: Can DICLOWIN ASP 3 TABLET be used for ear pain?
A: DICLOWIN ASP 3 TABLET may help relieve ear pain because of its anti-inflammatory properties, but it is not typically recommended for this type of pain without a doctor’s consultation. Ear pain can have various causes, such as infections or fluid buildup, which may require specific treatment beyond general pain relief. It’s best to consult a healthcare provider to determine if DICLOWIN ASP 3 TABLET is appropriate for your specific ear pain.
Q: Is DICLOWIN ASP 3 TABLET used for head pain?
A: DICLOWIN ASP 3 TABLET is generally not the first choice for headaches or migraines. It is designed to treat musculoskeletal pain, which involves inflammation and swelling of muscles and joints. Headaches and migraines are often managed with medications specifically formulated for those types of pain, such as paracetamol, ibuprofen, or migraine-specific drugs. DICLOWIN ASP 3 TABLET may not provide optimal relief for headaches and could have unnecessary components for that type of pain.
Q: Can DICLOWIN ASP 3 TABLET damage kidneys?
A: Long-term use of DICLOWIN ASP 3 TABLET can potentially damage the kidneys, especially in individuals with existing kidney conditions or those taking high doses for extended periods. Aceclofenac, an NSAID in DICLOWIN ASP 3 TABLET, can reduce blood flow to the kidneys, which may impair kidney function over time. It’s important to take this medication only as prescribed and to avoid long-term use without medical supervision. Regular kidney function monitoring is recommended if prolonged use is necessary.
Q: Is DICLOWIN ASP 3 TABLET bad for the liver?
A: DICLOWIN ASP 3 TABLET contains paracetamol, which can affect the liver, especially in high doses or with prolonged use. Excessive or prolonged intake of paracetamol can cause liver toxicity, so people with liver conditions should consult their doctor before using it. Following the prescribed dosage and avoiding other medications containing paracetamol while taking DICLOWIN ASP 3 TABLET are essential steps in protecting liver health.
Q: Does DICLOWIN ASP 3 TABLET make you sleepy?
A: DICLOWIN ASP 3 TABLET is generally not associated with causing drowsiness or sedation. However, individual responses to medications can vary, and some people might feel slightly sleepy or fatigued. If you notice significant drowsiness after taking DICLOWIN ASP 3 TABLET, it’s recommended to consult your doctor, as they may adjust your dosage or suggest alternative options.
Q: How many hours does DICLOWIN ASP 3 TABLET last?
A: DICLOWIN ASP 3 TABLET typically provides relief for about 6 to 8 hours, though the exact duration can vary depending on individual factors like metabolism, the severity of pain, and the condition being treated. For chronic conditions, your doctor may prescribe a specific dosage schedule to maintain consistent pain relief. Always follow the prescribed timing to prevent overlapping doses.
Q: Are DICLOWIN ASP 3 TABLET and Dolo 650 the same?
A: No, they are different medications. DICLOWIN ASP 3 TABLET is a combination of aceclofenac, serratiopeptidase, and paracetamol, providing anti-inflammatory, anti-swelling, and pain-relief effects. Dolo 650, on the other hand, contains only paracetamol, which is primarily used as a fever reducer and pain reliever for mild to moderate pain. While Dolo 650 can help relieve headaches, fevers, and mild pain, DICLOWIN ASP 3 TABLET is stronger and more effective for conditions involving significant inflammation and musculoskeletal pain.
Q: Can DICLOWIN ASP 3 TABLET be used for nerve pain?
A: DICLOWIN ASP 3 TABLET is not specifically used for nerve pain. Medications such as gabapentin or pregabalin are generally prescribed for nerve-related pain. DICLOWIN ASP 3 TABLET Is more suitable for pain caused by inflammation, swelling, or injury. While it may help reduce inflammation-related pain, it is unlikely to address the underlying issues associated with nerve pain, so consulting a doctor for appropriate treatment is recommended.
Q: Does DICLOWIN ASP 3 TABLET cause constipation?
A: Constipation is not a common side effect of DICLOWIN ASP 3 TABLET, but some individuals may experience gastrointestinal side effects like constipation, stomach discomfort, or bloating. If you experience constipation, inform your doctor, as they may suggest dietary adjustments, hydration, or additional treatments to alleviate this side effect.
Q: Can DICLOWIN ASP 3 TABLET be taken by pregnant or breastfeeding women?
A: DICLOWIN ASP 3 TABLET is not recommended for use in pregnant or breastfeeding women. Its components may pose a risk to the developing fetus or nursing child, potentially leading to adverse effects. Pregnant and breastfeeding women should consult their doctor for safer alternatives. Self-medicating with DICLOWIN ASP 3 TABLET during pregnancy or lactation should be avoided to protect maternal and child health.
Q: Can DICLOWIN ASP 3 TABLET be used in diabetic patients?
A: Diabetic patients should consult their doctor before taking DICLOWIN ASP 3 TABLET. Some components may interact with antidiabetic medications or affect blood sugar control.
