Introduction About DERIVA BPO GEL
DERIVA BPO GEL is used in the management of acne. It is a combination of Adapalene and Benzoyl peroxide, which belong to the group of medicines called Antiacne agents. It modulates the skin cell cycle and manages the accumulation of excess sebum (natural oil produced by the skin) and dead skin cells on the hair follicles of the skin. It also reduces inflammation on the skin. It improves the skin's tendency to naturally exfoliate dead skin cells. It also reduces the number of acne-causing bacteria on the skin, which can reduce the further spread of acne. Collectively, they unclog the hair follicles of the skin and exfoliate dead skin cells, which reduces acne breakouts.
DERIVA BPO GEL is suitable for use both in adults and in children (aged 9 years or older). Apply a thin layer of DERIVA BPO GEL on the affected skin areas. Avoid contact with this medicine with your eyes, mouth, ears, nose, or open wounds. You must also protect your skin against sun light and other light sources (such as UV lamps).
Do not use DERIVA BPO GEL if you are pregnant, think you may be pregnant, or plan to have a baby. DERIVA BPO GEL can be used for breastfeeding women if required. The most common side effects of using DERIVA BPO GEL are dry skin, a mild burning sensation, skin irritation, redness, or scaling. Consult your doctor if they trouble you.
