Introduction About DENTACAIN GEL
Dentacain Gel is a dental gel used for pain relief in mouth ulcers, gum sores and tooth ache. It contains Choline salicylate, Lignocaine and Benzalkonium chloride as main ingredients which serves as analgesic and antiseptic.
Choline salicylate works by reducing swelling and pain associated with mouth ulcers. Lignocaine acts as a local anaesthetic, which blocks the pain signals from reaching the brain and relieves pain, itching and burning by causing temporary numbness. Benzalkonium chloride is an antiseptic which manages infection.
Always apply Dentacain Gel as advised by your physician. It is for external use only. Do not swallow. Apply required amount of Dentacain Gel on the affected area with a clean index finger and rub gently and or may be repeated as advised by the physician.
