Introduction About COLFORT TABLET
Colfort Tablet is used in the management of osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis. It contains rosehip extract, collagen peptide type II, vitamin C, sodium hyaluronate and chondroitin sulphate as active ingredients to provide effective pain relief in arthritis and improves joint flexibility, promotes cartilage its tensile strength and elasticity, also acts as a lubricant and shock absorber for joints.
Collagen peptide type II gives cartilage its tensile strength and elasticity which supports the joints. Chondroitin sulphate keeps the cartilage healthy by absorbing fluid (especially water) into the connective tissue, also block the enzymes that break down the cartilage and acts as a building block for the body to produce new cartilage. Sodium hyaluronate along with chondroitin sulphate reduces the inflammation associated with arthritis.
Sodium Hyaluronate acts as a lubricant and shock absorber which manages friction or abrasion. Vitamin C aids in the synthesis of collagen in the body and also have antioxidant properties which slows the progression of arthritis. Rosehip extract decreases joint inflammation and manages joint damage. It posses anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties which is beneficial in conditions such as osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis.
