Q: How Does COFDEX SYRUP Work?

Dextromethorphan is an antitussive medicine that suppresses the cough center of the brain responsible for the cough. Ammonium chloride with its irritative action acts on the cells which leads to the production of fluid in the airways that helps in the removal of the phlegm or the cough.
