Introduction About COF Q LOZENGES
COF Q LOZENGES contains a combination of Amylmetacresol and Dextromethorphan which belongs to the group of medicines called Antiseptic and Antitussives respectively. It is used for the relief of acute nonproductive cough associated with sore throat.
COF Q LOZENGES should be used with caution in patients with lung problems such as asthma, emphysema and chronic bronchitis, liver problems. Consult your doctor before taking it.
COF Q LOZENGES should be used with caution in pregnant women. The safety and effectiveness of COF Q LOZENGES in breastfeeding women has not been established yet. Consult your doctor before taking it.
COF Q LOZENGES is not recommended for use in children below 12 years of age. It should be used with caution in elderly patients. The side effects of taking COF Q LOZENGES is sore tongue. Consult your doctor if any of the side effect worsens.

How COF Q LOZENGES Works
COF Q LOZENGES works by relieving the cough and sore throat where Amylmetacresol is an antiseptic works by killing the bacteria associated with mouth and throat infections. Dextromethorphan is a Cough suppressant which relieves cough by acting on the cough center in the brain.
How to use COF Q LOZENGES
Take COF Q LOZENGES as advised by your physician. Place it in your mouth and allow it to dissolve slowly. Do not chew or swallow the medicine.
Side Effects Of COF Q LOZENGES

Before taking COF Q LOZENGES, inform your doctor if you are taking any of the following medicine:
- monoamine oxidase inhibitors (medicines used to manage depression) (Ex. selegiline, phenelzine, isocarboxazid)
Overdosage:
If you or anyone else accidentally take too much of COF Q LOZENGES, consult your doctor immediately or visit the nearby hospital.
