Introduction About COEDHEA PLUS CAPSULE
COEDHEA PLUS CAPSULE contains a combination of Dehydroepiandrosterone and L Methylfolate which belongs to the group of medicine called Endogenous steroid hormone and Vitamins respectively. It is used in the management of infertility in women (diminished ovarian reserve), and poor responders to invitro fertilization (IVF). Also helps in maintaining the level of sex hormones in the body.
Infertility is defined as trying to get pregnant with frequent, unprotected sex for at least a year. A menstrual cycle that is too long (35 days or more), too short (less than 21 days), irregular, or absent, combined with no success with symptoms of inability to get pregnant, can indicate that you are not ovulating.
Before taking COEDHEA PLUS CAPSULE, inform your doctor if you have any form of cancer or are at risk of cancer (breast cancer, prostate cancer, etc.), hypercholesterolemia, ischemic heart disease, a history of psychiatric disorder, depression, liver or kidney disease, a vitamin B12 deficiency, epilepsy, or diabetes. Avoid drinking alcohol because it can exacerbate the side effects of this management.
COEDHEA PLUS CAPSULE is not recommended for use by pregnant or breastfeeding women. Usually, there are no side effects from taking COEDHEA PLUS CAPSULE, but if any of your symptoms get worse or persist, contact your doctor.

How COEDHEA PLUS CAPSULE Works
COEDHEA PLUS CAPSULE helps in the production and development of healthy eggs in women, which in turn improves fertility and chances of pregnancy. Dehydroepiandrosterone inhibits voltage-gated T-type calcium channels and converts cholesterol to oestrogens and androgens that exert effects in target tissues. And L-methylfolate manages low folate levels and helps in the production of red blood cells.
How to use COEDHEA PLUS CAPSULE
Take COEDHEA PLUS CAPSULE as advised by your physician. Swallow the medicine with water. Do not crush or chew the medicine. Your doctor will determine the right dose and duration depending upon your age, body weight, and disease condition.
Side Effects Of COEDHEA PLUS CAPSULE

Stop taking COEDHEA PLUS CAPSULE and contact your doctor immediately if you experience any of the following side effects:
- severe allergic reaction (hives, difficulty breathing, swelling of face, lips, tongue, or throat)

Alcohol

Allergy

Heart Disease
Use with CautionCOEDHEA PLUS CAPSULE should be used with caution in patients with ischemic heart disease. Consult your doctor before taking.
Others
COEDHEA PLUS CAPSULE is not recommended for use if you:
- have any form of cancer or at risk of cancer
Before taking COEDHEA PLUS CAPSULE, inform your doctor if you:
- are at risk of breast cancer (in women, including postmenopausal women) and prostate cancer
- have hypercholesterolemia
- with or a history of psychiatric disorders (risk of exacerbation).
- risk of mania or with a history of mood disorders.
- have vitamin B12 deficiency
- have epilepsy
- have diabetes
Interactions
A. Drug - Drug interactions:
Before taking COEDHEA PLUS CAPSULE, inform your doctor if you are taking any of the following medicine:
- phenothiazines (acetophenazine, carbamazepine, chlorpromazine, chlorprothixene, clozapine, ethopropazine, fluphenazine, mesoridazine, methdilazine, perazine, perphenazine, pipotiazine, prochlorperazine, promazine, promethazine, propiomazin, thioridazine, trifluoperazine, triflupromazine), haloperidol, lithium, loxapine, molindone, olanzapine, quetiapine, risperidone and valproic acid (to manage psychotic disorders)
- citalopram, escitalopram, fluoxetine, fluvoxamine, paroxetine and sertraline (to manage depression)
- conjugated estrogens, esterified estrogens, estradiol, estradiol cypionate, estropipate and ethinyl estradiol
- testosterone
- triazolam (manage insomnia)
- benzodiazepines (to manage anxiety)
- thyroid hormones
Overdosage:
If you or anyone else accidentally take too much of COEDHEA PLUS CAPSULE, consult your doctor immediately or visit the nearby hospital. Symptoms of overdose are acne, facial hair growth, oily skin, hair loss and, occasionally, deepening of the voice, insulin resistance.
