Introduction About CLOHEX ADS MOUTH WASH
Clohex ADS Mouth Wash is an antiseptic and antiplaque agent, used to manage plaque and gingivitis (gum disease), dental caries, halitosis (bad breath), maintenance of oral hygiene, pre & post procedures, dental scaling and sponging. It contains Chlorhexidine Gluconate, Sodium Fluoride and Zinc Chloride as an active ingredient which is used to decrease oral bacteria.
Chlorhexidine gluconate acts as a germicidal, that reduces the bacteria in growth in mouth. Sodium Fluoride acts as an anticaries agent, which is used to manage caries. Zinc Chloride has the ability to neutralize the bad breath.
Always use Clohex ADS Mouth Wash as advised by your physician. For dental use only. Remove the cap and squeeze until the 10ml dispenser fills. Rinse vigorously around the teeth and gums and then spit out. Do not swallow.

A: If you notice any peeling of the surface layer of skin in your mouth, dilute the Clohex ADS Mouth Wash with an equal amount of water, as it may be more appropriate than stopping altogether.
Q: Can children use Clohex ADS Mouth Wash?
A: Clohex ADS Mouth Wash should not be used in children, without doctor’s recommendation. Consult your doctor before using Clohex ADS Mouth Wash.
Q: Does Clohex ADS Mouth Wash cause staining?
A: When using Clohex ADS Mouth Wash, the tongue, teeth or fillings may become discoloured. This disappears when you stop using the medicine. This staining is not permanent and can be removed by brushing or in extreme cases can be removed by a simple scale and polish from your dentist or hygienist. If discolouration of dentures occurs clean with a conventional dental cleaner.
Q: How can I avoid staining?
A: Patients should avoid tannin containing foods or drinks (such as tea, coffee and wine) for at least 1 hour after rinsing to avoid dental staining.
