Introduction About CLOCIBIOTIC EAR DROPS
CLOCIBIOTIC EAR DROPS is a combination of Beclomethasone, Chloramphenicol and Clotrimazole which belongs to the group of medicines called Anti-inflammatory, Antibacterial and Antifungal respectively. It is used to manage fungal and bacterial ear infections.
CLOCIBIOTIC EAR DROPS is not recommended for use if you have a hole in your ear drum. Consult your doctor before using this medicine.
CLOCIBIOTIC EAR DROPS should not be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding unless considered essential by your doctor. Consult your doctor before using this medicine.
The most common side effects of using CLOCIBIOTIC EAR DROPS are redness, itching, burning, blistering, swelling, irritation of the skin. Consult your doctor if any of the symptoms worsen.

How CLOCIBIOTIC EAR DROPS Works
CLOCIBIOTIC EAR DROPS helps to manage ear infection, where Beclomethasone is an anti-inflammatory act by reducing pain and inflammation (signs like redness and swelling) by blocking certain chemical messengers called prostaglandins that are responsible for it. Chloramphenicol is an antibiotic which stops the growth of bacteria in the ear and Clotrimazole is an antifungal which stops the growth of fungi in the ear.
How to use CLOCIBIOTIC EAR DROPS
Always use CLOCIBIOTIC EAR DROPS as advised by your doctor. It is for use in the ear only. Squeeze the dropper gently, then dispense the medication inside the ear. Do not touch the dropper tip on any surface to avoid contamination. Your doctor will decide the correct dose, duration and frequency for you depending on your age, body weight and disease condition.
Side Effects Of CLOCIBIOTIC EAR DROPS

- redness, itching
- burning, blistering, swelling, irritation of the skin
Rare
Stop using CLOCIBIOTIC EAR DROPS and contact your doctor immediately if you experience any of the following side effects:
- allergic reactions such as rashes, itching with fever, swelling of the skin, face, lips or tongue causing wheeziness (shortness of breath)
- a sore throat, bruising or being unable to overcome an infection

- have a hole in your ear drum.
- or someone in your family ever had a blood disorder or bone marrow disease including anemia (decrease in the number of red blood cells) when using chloramphenicol in the past
- have a family history of dyscrasias (a condition which can cause tiredness, bruising and an increased risk of infections)
Interactions

Before using CLOCIBIOTIC EAR DROPS, inform your doctor if you are taking any of the following medicine:
- medicines used to manage cancer (Ex. methotrexate)
- medicines used for the immune system (Ex. azathioprine)
- medicine used as a dietary supplement (Ex. chymotrypsin)
Overdosage:
In case of accidental ingestion or too much usage of CLOCIBIOTIC EAR DROPS, consult your doctor immediately or visit the nearby hospital.
