Introduction About CITRALKA LIQUID
Citralka Liquid is a Urinary alkalinizers used to manage pyelitis, cystitis, urethritis, urolithiasis and urinary tract infections. It is also used to manage acute or chronic metabolic acidosis in acute infections and dehydration. It contains Disodium Hydrogen Citrate as an active ingredient.
Disodium hydrogen citrate is a urinary alkalinizer that makes the urine less acidic and promotes mild increased production of urine.
Take Citralka Liquid as advised by your physician. Shake well before use. Take 30 ml 4 times daily in adults and Take 10 or 15 ml 3 or 4 times daily in children aged 6 to 12 years. To be taken in water or milk. Adults may take it without dilution, followed by water, if preferred.

Safety Advice

- Do not take Citralka Liquid if you are allergic to any of its components
- It is not recommended to use in severe renal impairment and associated oliguria, azotemia or anuria, unmanageed Addison’s disease, acute dehydration, heat cramps, and severe myocardial damage
- Before using Citralka Liquid inform your doctor if you have or recently had congestive heart failure, hypertension, pulmonary or peripheral edema, or toxemia of pregnancy, kidney disease, low urine output and acute liver failure
- It should be used in pregnant and breastfeeding women only when clearly necessary.
- Inform your doctor about all the medicines you use, including prescription, over-the-counter medications, and herbal preparations
