Introduction About CIPLADINE OINTMENT
Cipladine Ointment is a broad-spectrum antiseptic used to manage infection in minor cuts, wounds, scrapes, burns and infections. It is also useful for surgical wounds. It contains Povidone Iodine as an active ingredient.
Povidone Iodine is effective against bacteria, including spores, fungi, yeasts, protozoa and viruses, even the presence of blood, serum, pus and necrotic tissue. It kills the harmful microbes on the skin instantly.
Always apply Cipladine Ointment as advised by your physician. It is for external use only. Clean the affected area and apply a small amount of Cipladine Ointment to the affected area 1 to 3 times daily or as recommended by your physician. May be covered with a sterile bandage. Do not use Cipladine Ointment on eyes, or over large areas of the body. Contact your physician before use if you have deep or puncture wounds, serious burns, and animal bites.
