Introduction About CIPAD EYE DROPS
CIPAD EYE DROPS is used to manage bacterial infection of the eye or the ear in conditions in adults and children above 1 year. It contains an antibiotic called ciprofloxacin which kills bacteria by stopping their DNA from multiplying and repairing. This helps clear up bacterial eye/ear infections.
CIPAD EYE DROPS on prolonged use can cause an overgrowth of other non-susceptible organisms. Hence, it should be used only for the prescribed time as per your doctor. CIPAD EYE DROPS should be used with caution during pregnancy and breastfeeding only if the potential benefit justifies the potential risk to the baby.
CIPAD EYE DROPS is not recommended for use by children below 12 months (1 year) of age, including newborns without a doctor’s advice. The most common side effects of using CIPAD EYE DROPS are redness, itching, irritation, pain, red eye, and double vision. Consult a doctor immediately if any of the symptoms worsen.

- signs of allergic reaction such as skin rash, pain, swelling of face, hands, or feet, wheezing, difficulty in breathing, shortness of breath, nettle rash (severe and sudden onset of pinkish, itchy swelling of the skin)
- any inflammation or inflammatory condition
- white particles in your eyes

Before using CIPAD EYE DROPS, inform your doctor if you are taking any of the following medicine:
- medicines used to manage pain and inflammation, asthma or skin problems such as corticosteroids (Ex. cortisone, prednisone, prednisolone, methylprednisolone, dexamethasone, betamethasone, hydrocortisone)
Overdosage:
If you or anyone else accidentally put too many drops of CIPAD EYE DROPS into the eyes, immediately rinse your eyes with warm water. Consult a doctor immediately or visit the nearby hospital.
