Introduction About CHEERIO GEL
Cheerio Gel is a medicated toothpaste that helps in ensuring good oral health and hygiene by managing the onset of new cavities. It contains Sodium Monofluorophosphate as the active ingredient which helps in protecting the enamel from getting demineralised.
Sodium Monofluorophosphate is an anti-caries agent. It achieves its anti caries action by strengthening the tooth enamel. It manages the enamel (topmost layer of tooth) from getting demineralized (degraded) along with ensuring the remineralization (improvement in structure) of the previously degraded teeth.
Use Cheerio Gel as directed by the dentist. Brush teeth thoroughly preferably after meal or at least twice a day. It should not be used by children under the age of 6, without the dentist’s recommendation and for children above the age of 6, care should be taken to use a pea sized amount. Also, proper brushing and rinsing methods are to be taught so as to manage its swallowing. Consult your doctor if you experience any allergic reactions while using it.
