Introduction About CETANIL CT TABLET
CETANIL CT TABLET is a combination of Chlorthalidone and Cilnidipine which belongs to the group of medicines called Antihypertensive agents. It is used to manage essential hypertension.
Hypertension also known as high or raised blood pressure, is a condition in which the blood vessels have persistently raised pressure. Blood is carried from the heart to all parts of the body in the vessels. Each time the heart beats, it pumps blood into the vessels. Blood pressure is created by the force of blood pushing against the walls of blood vessels (arteries) as it is pumped by the heart. The higher the pressure, the harder the heart has to pump.
During the course of management your doctor might regularly monitor your blood pressure, kidney function and electrolyte balance at regular intervals to avoid any untoward side effects.
CETANIL CT TABLET is not recommended for use in patients with liver, kidney, and heart disease and it should be used in caution with patient having diabetes.
CETANIL CT TABLET is not intended for use in the pregnant and breast-feeding woman. Consult your doctor before taking the medicine.
As safety and efficacy in children has not been established, consult your doctor about the risk and benefits before taking CETANIL CT TABLET.
It should be used with caution in elderly patients. The most common side effects of taking CETANIL CT TABLET are dizziness, nausea, headache, constipation, fever and chills. Consult your doctor if the above-mentioned side effects are not improving.

How CETANIL CT TABLET Works
