Introduction About CEEDROX 250 DT TABLET
CEEDROX 250 DT TABLET is used to manage bacterial infections while promoting gut health. It is used to manage bacterial infections such as urinary tract infections, skin and soft tissue infections, respiratory infections, and some types of bacterial meningitis.
It contains a combination of medicines called Cefadroxil and Lactic acid bacillus, which belongs to the group of medicines called Antibiotics and Probiotics.
Cefadroxil is an antibiotic that kills bacteria by preventing the formation of their cell walls, stopping their growth. Lactic acid bacillus is a probiotic that restores healthy gut bacteria, which may be disrupted during antibiotic use, aiding digestion and immune health.
CEEDROX 250 DT TABLET should be used during pregnancy only if clearly necessary. It should be used with caution in breastfeeding women, as it may pass through breast milk.
CEEDROX 250 DT TABLET should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease, severe allergies, asthma, and a history of gastrointestinal disturbances such as colitis. It is not recommended for use in children suffering from kidney disease and requires hemodialysis. This medicine should be used with caution in the elderly (above 60 years of age).
