    Introduction About CARPINE INJECTION

CARPINE INJECTION contains pilocarpine which belongs to the group of medicines called Cholinergic agonists. It is used for intracameral (into the eye) administration to induce miosis (constriction of pupil) during cataract surgery with intraocular implant.

Your doctor will regularly check your eyes before and during management with CARPINE INJECTION, particularly if you have had any eye disorders.

CARPINE INJECTION is not recommended for use in patients having any problem where they can't let the pupil of the eye to constrict (Ex. an acute iris inflammation). It should be given to pregnant women only if clearly necessary and should be used with caution in breastfeeding women.

Ask your doctor before giving CARPINE INJECTION to your child. No untoward reactions have been reported from the use of CARPINE INJECTION. See your doctor if any of the symptoms worsen.
