Introduction About CARMOPEPTIN SYRUP
Carmopeptin Syrup is a palatable preparation of digestive enzymes that are used to prevent, manage, or manage indigestion, flatulence, anorexia, meteorism, pancreatic insufficiency, heartburn, bloating, indigestion associated with chronic alcoholism and smoking, abdominal gas, pain, and constipation. It contains Alpha amylase and Papain as active ingredients that help in enhancing food digestion.
Alpha amylase catalyzes the breakdown of starch and polysaccharides present in the food. Papain catalyzes the breakdown of proteins; hence both these enzymes help manage indigestion and associated discomfort such as gaseous distension and gripping pain.
