Direction for Use/Dosage
Press the On/Off button to turn the thermometer on. The screen will first show a self-test display, followed by the last recorded temperature, and then it will enter testing mode. Position the thermometer in the desired location (mouth, rectum, or armpit). For oral use, place the probe under the tongue and close your mouth. For rectal use, lubricate the tip and gently insert it about 1 cm into the rectum. For armpit use, wipe the armpit dry and place the probe, keeping the arm pressed firmly to the side. Wait for the beep alarm, which indicates the measurement is complete. Read the temperature on the LCD display. Press the On/Off button to turn the unit off after use to prolong battery life.
