Introduction About CALPHITROL TABLET
Calphitrol Tablet is a dietary supplement used to manage conditions with low levels of calcium in the blood such as osteoporosis (brittle bones), osteomalacia, rickets (weak bones), and hypoparathyroidism (decreased levels of parathyroid hormones). It is also used in pregnancy, breastfeeding, chronic kidney disease and postmenopausal osteoporosis. It contains calcium, calcitriol, and zinc as active ingredients.
Calcium helps in bone formation. Vitamin D3 aids in absorption of calcium and phosphorus from the intestine for building and maintenance of strong bones. Zinc helps in bone growth and regeneration by inhibiting the bone destroying cells.
Take Calphitrol Tablet as advised by the doctor. Swallow the tablet with a glass of water and do not crush or chew the tablet.
