    Introduction About BEXOL DT TABLET

BEXOL DT TABLET contains Trihexyphenidyl which belongs to the group of medicines called Central Anticholinergics. It is used to improve muscle control in patients with Parkinson’s disease. Parkinson’s disease is a long-term brain disorder that causes muscle stiffness, shaking, slow and unsteady movements, difficulty in walking and loss of balance. It happens due to loss of nerve cells at certain regions of brain (basal ganglia) that controls body movements.

BEXOL DT TABLET can also be used to control abnormal involuntary muscle movements (such as extreme restlessness or muscle spasms) in the body that is caused due to the use of certain medicines.

Trihexyphenidyl is a muscle relaxant. It reduces muscle stiffness and relaxes muscles by reducing the activity of a chemical messenger called acetylcholine in the brain. It also restores a balance between certain brain chemicals (dopamine and acetylcholine) that controls body movements.
