Before taking a measurement, rest for about 5 minutes. Avoid eating, smoking, or physical activity for at least 30 minutes prior. Position the cuff on your bare left upper arm, ensuring it is 2 to 3 cm above the elbow and level with your heart. The tube should point towards the center of your palm. The cuff should be snug, with enough space for two fingers to fit underneath. Press the START/STOP button to begin the measurement. Remain still and do not talk during the process. The systolic pressure, diastolic pressure, and pulse readings will be displayed. If taking multiple readings, wait for at least one minute between each measurement.
