Introduction About BETADINE SURGICAL SCRUB 7.5% SOLUTION
Betadine Surgical scrub 7.5% Solution is an antiseptic cleansing solution used by the healthcare professional to cleanse their hands and forearms prior to- or after- any surgeries. It contains povidone-iodine as the active ingredient.
Povidone-Iodine is an antimicrobial agent. It rapidly penetrates the cell wall of the microorganisms and disrupts their cell structure, leading to cell death. Therefore, it manages one from getting infection easily.
Betadine Surgical scrub 7.5% Solution is for external use only. Wet your hands and/or forearms. Apply a teaspoon full of the Betadine Surgical scrub 7.5% Solution over both hands and forearms. Scrub thoroughly for 2.5 to 3 minutes. You can add a little water and scrub followed by rinsing your hands under running water. Before using Betadine Surgical scrub 7.5% Solution consult your doctor if you have thyroid problems or any other skin conditions as a precaution.
