    Introduction About BETADINE 5% SOLUTION

    Betadine 5% Solution is an Antiseptic Agent, which is used for degerming the skin pre- and post-operatively for surgical procedures and used as an antiseptic for the management of superficial wounds, traumatic injuries, burns, vaginal preparation prior to a surgical procedure etc. It contains Povidone-Iodine as an active ingredient.

    Povidone-Iodine is an Antiseptic Agent, which has a rapid and prolonged germicidal effect on a wide range of pathogenic organisms, including bacteria, viruses, fungi, protozoa.

    Always apply Betadine 5% Solution as advised by your physician. It is for external use only. Wash your hands before and after use. Take enough Betadine 5% Solution and apply it to the affected area, as often as required, as paint or wet soak. Do not get Betadine 5% Solution in your eyes, nose, or mouth. Do not use over large areas of the body.
