Introduction About BENZONIX GEL WASH
BENZONIX GEL WASH is an antibacterial and anti-inflammatory gel, which is used for the management of mild acne on the face, chest or back in adults and adolescents 12 years and over. It contains Benzoyl Peroxide as an active ingredient which kills the acne causing bacteria.
Benzoyl Peroxide gets converted into benzoic acid which releases active free-radical oxygen. These free radicals interfere with important bacterial function and survival, hence killing them. It also increases the turnover rate of skin cells which helps in managing acne.
Always apply BENZONIX GEL WASH as advised by your physician. It is external use only. Wash the affected area with a mild cleanser pat your skin dry. Apply a thin layer over the affected area once or twice daily. If you have sensitive skin, apply once at night. Consult your doctor if you experience any allergic reactions while taking it.

- Inform your doctor on all the medicines you use, including prescription and over-the-counter medications, as well as herbal supplements

Yes. When you first start using BENZONIX GEL WASH, it’s recommended to only leave the management on for a couple of hours for the first three days. This ensures that your skin is getting used to the active ingredient benzoyl peroxide. After three days of no redness, you can then apply this gel and leave it on overnight. Make sure to apply a moisturiser after this gel to manage any dryness from occurring.
