Direction for Use/Dosage
Ensure the skin around the stoma is clean and completely dry before application. If using a cut-to-fit wafer, measure your stoma using a sizing guide and cut the opening on the skin barrier to the correct size. Peel the backing off the adhesive barrier. Center the opening over the stoma and press the adhesive firmly against the skin, starting from the area closest to the stoma and smoothing outwards. Hold your hand over the barrier for 30-60 seconds; the warmth will help activate the adhesive and ensure a secure seal. To empty, open the drainage tap at the bottom of the pouch over a toilet. It is advisable to change the pouching system every 3 to 4 days, or immediately if any leakage occurs.
