    Description

The Bao Health One Piece Convex Pouch is a drainable stoma bag designed for adults with a colostomy or ileostomy. Its one-piece construction integrates the pouch and skin barrier into a single unit for straightforward application. The convex shape is specifically designed for individuals with flush, retracted, or concave stomas, applying gentle pressure to help the stoma protrude and ensure a more secure fit. The pouch features a skin-friendly hydrocolloid adhesive and an odor-barrier film to provide comfort and discretion.

Convex Base: Specially designed for enhanced fit on flush, retracted, or concave stomas.
Skin-Friendly Hydrocolloid Adhesive: A soft, flat hydrocolloid adhesive protects the skin and provides a secure seal.
Cut-to-Fit Opening: The barrier can be cut to fit stoma sizes from 15mm to 32mm for a personalized fit.
Integrated Filter: A built-in bar filter helps to manage odor and prevent the pouch from ballooning with gas.
Discreet and Comfortable: Made with a rustle-free, water-repellent film and a comfortable fabric facing the skin.
Integrated Closure: Features a hook-loop (Velcro) closure for secure and easy emptying of the pouch.
Viewing Window: A viewing option allows for clear visibility of the stoma and output without removing the pouch.

Q: What is a one-piece convex pouch used for?
A: A one-piece convex pouch is designed for individuals with a colostomy or ileostomy. The convex shape applies gentle pressure around the stoma, which is particularly helpful for stomas that are flush, retracted, or in a recessed area, to ensure a secure fit and help prevent leakage.

Q: What does the '32mm' size indicate?
A: The '32mm' indicates the pre-cut size of the stoma opening in the skin barrier. This product is designed to fit a stoma of that specific diameter.

Q: How does the one-piece design offer convenience?
A: The one-piece system integrates the skin barrier (flange) and the collection pouch into a single unit. This simplifies the application process, as there is no need to assemble separate components.

Q: What are the benefits of the convex shape?
A: The convex barrier is designed to help manage stomas that are difficult to seal, such as those that are flush with the skin or retracted. It applies light pressure to the peristomal area to help the stoma protrude, creating a more secure seal and minimizing the risk of leakage.

Q: Is it advisable to consult a healthcare professional before using this product?
A: Yes, it is recommended to consult with a stoma care nurse or another healthcare professional. They can help determine if a convex pouching system is the appropriate choice for your specific stoma type and abdominal contours to prevent complications.
