Introduction About B LONG TABLET
B LONG TABLET contains pyridoxine hydrochloride (vitamin B6), which belongs to the group of medicines called Vitamin derivatives. It is used to manage low levels of vitamin B6 levels in the blood. The symptoms of B6 deficiency are weak immunity, anemia, itchy rashes, scaly skin on the lips, cracks at the corners of the mouth, a swollen tongue and other neurological symptoms confusion and depression.
B LONG TABLET is also used to manage idiopathic sideroblastic anemia (a disease in which the bone marrow is not able to produce normal red blood cells) which causes weakness, fatigue, breathing difficulties, and enlargement of the liver and spleen. Additionally, B LONG TABLET is used for the management of peripheral neuritis caused by isoniazid (medicine given for tuberculosis). Peripheral neuritis is a disease that occurs due to nerve damage that results in pain and numbness, especially in hands and feet.
B LONG TABLET is not recommended for use in children. B LONG TABLET should be used with caution if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. The regular supplemental doses of vitamin B6 don’t report any side effects while taking large daily doses may result in developing a condition called peripheral neuropathy (pins and needles pain in body extremities). Consult your doctor if any of your symptoms get worse or persist.
