Introduction About AXOL PLUS SUSPENSION
AXOL PLUS SUSPENSION contains Ambroxol, Guaifenesin, Salbutamol, and Menthol, which belong to the group of medicines called mucolytics, expectorants, bronchodilators, and antitussives respectively. It is used in adults and children above 12 years for the management of bronchospasm associated with asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary diseases like emphysema and chronic bronchitis.
Emphysema is a lung disease that causes shortness of breath. Chronic bronchitis is an inflammation of the bronchi (the air passage into the lungs) in which coughing up sputum lasts for more than three months.
It is used to release mucus from the chest by melting it down (chesty cough). AXOL PLUS SUSPENSION is also used to manage lung and bronchial disorders with a productive cough. Bronchospasm is a condition where muscles inside the lungs get tightened. Symptoms include coughing, wheezing, tightness in the chest, and tiredness.
[GBNKRYWORD] is not recommended for use if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, have persistent asthma, or are children less than 12 years of age. Before taking AXOL PLUS SUSPENSION, inform your doctor if you have diabetes, chest pain, an abnormal heart rate and pulse rate, an enlarged prostate, increased thyroid hormone in the body, increased blood pressure, etc.

How AXOL PLUS SUSPENSION Works
AXOL PLUS SUSPENSION contains ambroxol, guaifenesin, salbutamol, menthol. Ambroxol is a mucolytic agent that manages the excess secretion of mucus and thus it lowers the phlegm viscosity and improves the mucociliary transport of bronchial secretions. Guaiphenesin promotes mucus clearance and facilitates coughing up and spitting out the sputum.
Salbutamol is a bronchodilator that relaxes the muscles of airways into the lungs and makes airways stay open that makes it easier to breathe. Menthol is added to the combination because of its cooling effect on the throat. Thus AXOL PLUS SUSPENSION helps to loosen and clear phlegm and relieve cough, and chest tightness.
