    Introduction About ASCORIL + TABLET

    ASCORIL + TABLET is a combination of Bromhexine, Guaiphenesin and Terbutaline which belongs to the group of medicines called Mucolytics, Expectorant and Beta-agonist respectively. It is used to manage cough and congestion due to asthmatic, non-asthmatic or infection.

    A cough is a reflex action to clear your airways of mucus and irritants such as dust or smoke. Nasal congestion, also called stuffy nose, is a feeling of fullness in the nose or face. It is often called rhinorrhea or rhinitis. ASCORIL + TABLET should be used with caution in patients with myocardial insufficiency, stomach ulcer, liver, and kidney disorders.

    There is limited data regarding the use of ASCORIL + TABLET in pregnant and breastfeeding women. Your doctor will prescribe the right dose depends on your child’s age, body weight and disease condition. Consult your doctor if you experience any unusual reactions.

    How ASCORIL + TABLET Works

    ASCORIL + TABLET is a combination of Bromhexine, Guaiphenesin and Terbutaline. Bromhexine is a mucolytic and secretolytic agent, which breaks down the thick mucous into thin mucous, Secretolytic increases the production of serous mucous, which is thinner and less sticky, Guaiphenesin is an expectorant that assists in bringing up of phlegm from the airways and Terbutaline, which is a long acting bronchodilator.

    How to use ASCORIL + TABLET

    Take ASCORIL + TABLET as advised by your physician. Swallow ASCORIL + TABLET with adequate amount of water. Your doctor will decide the correct dose and duration for you depending upon your age, body weight and disease condition.
