1. Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and warm water and dry them completely. 2. Insert a new lancet firmly into the lancing device. 3. Twist and pull off the protective cap from the lancet. 4. Set the lancing device to the desired depth and prime it. 5. Place the device against the side of your fingertip and press the release button. 6.
