    How ARIGABA OINTMENT Works

ARIGABA OINTMENT is a combination of Gabapentin, Ketoprofen, Capsaicin, and Methyl Salicylate where Gabapentin acts by blocking the pain signals traveling through the damaged nerves and managing nerve pain. Ketoprofen works by blocking the effects of prostaglandin (substance produced during injury and inflammation causing pain) pain signals between the brain and nerve endings. Capsaicin works by activating certain receptors to cause prolonged desensitization of the local pain nerves. Methyl Salicylate acts by dilating the blood vessels and increasing blood flow. It causes irritation of the skin and because of counter-irritation, there is a sensation of warmth and relief in musculoskeletal pain.
