Description
The Bionote Anigen Rapid CaniV-4 Test Kit is a chromatographic immunoassay designed for the qualitative detection of Dirofilaria immitis (heartworm) antigen, Ehrlichia canis antibody, Borrelia burgdorferi (Lyme disease) antibody, and Anaplasma phagocytophilum/Anaplasma platys antibody in a dog's serum, plasma, or whole blood. This one-step testing procedure is intended for veterinary diagnostic use only.
Multi-Disease Detection: Simultaneously tests for four common canine vector-borne diseases: Heartworm, Ehrlichia, Lyme, and Anaplasma.
Specimen Versatility: Can be used with whole blood, plasma, or serum samples for flexibility in testing.
Simple Procedure: A one-step testing process allows for straightforward application.
Kit Components: Includes test devices, assay diluent, anticoagulant tubes, and disposable capillary tubes.
Q: What is the Bionote Anigen Rapid CaniV-4 Test kit used for?
A: The Anigen Rapid CaniV-4 Test Kit is a chromatographic immunoassay for the qualitative detection of four vector-borne diseases in canines. It is intended for veterinary use only.
Q: Which diseases does this kit detect?
A: This test simultaneously detects Dirofilaria immitis antigen (Heartworm), and antibodies for Ehrlichia canis, Borrelia burgdorferi (Lyme Disease), and Anaplasma phagocytophilum/Anaplasma platys.
Q: What type of sample is required for this test?
A: The test can be performed using canine serum, plasma, or whole blood collected by a veterinary professional.
Q: Can a pet owner use this test kit at home?
A: No, this is a professional diagnostic tool. A definitive clinical diagnosis should not be based on a single test result but should be made by a veterinarian after evaluating all clinical and laboratory findings.
Q: How long does it take to get the results?
