    Introduction About ANGIOTENSIN 2.5 TABLET

ANGIOTENSIN 2.5 TABLET contains Lisinopril which belongs to the group of medicines called Antihypertensive agents. It is used to manage hypertension (high blood pressure) and heart failure. Before taking ANGIOTENSIN 2.5 TABLET inform your doctor if you have any liver, kidney or heart problems (other than hypertension and heart failure). You must also inform your doctor if you have severe hypotension (low blood pressure), diabetes or are severely dehydrated due to any recent sickness (such as vomiting or diarrhea).

    How ANGIOTENSIN 2.5 TABLET Works

ANGIOTENSIN 2.5 TABLET is an ACE inhibitor. It works by blocking the actions of an enzyme called angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE), that causes narrowing of blood vessels and increase in blood pressure. As a result, it relaxes the blood vessels and allows blood to flow more smoothly across the blood vessels with less pressure.

It also improves blood flow and oxygen supply to the heart and the kidneys. This reduces strain on the heart and kidneys, improves their functions and manages the risks of heart failure or kidney damage.
