    Introduction About AMBROLITE COLD SYRUP

AMBROLITE COLD SYRUP is a combination of Ambroxol and Levocetirizine, which belong to the group of medicines called Mucolytics and Antihistamines, respectively. It is used to provide symptomatic relief for allergic bronchitis and asthma-associated allergic rhinitis in adults and children (aged 6 years and older).

Allergic bronchitis is a condition that occurs due to inflammation of the bronchial tubes by an allergic reaction and is generally characterized by symptoms such as cough, wheezing, chest tightness, and weakness. Allergic asthma is a breathing condition where the airways tighten when an allergen is inhaled, such as pollen or mold spores, and is generally characterized by symptoms such as shortness of breath, coughing, wheezing, and a stuffy nose.

Avoid taking AMBROLITE COLD SYRUP if you are allergic to ambroxol, levocetirizine, or cetirizine or have end-stage renal disease (kidney failure). Before taking AMBROLITE COLD SYRUP, inform your doctor if you have liver problems, such as hepatic impairment.

AMBROLITE COLD SYRUP is not recommended for use during pregnancy or in breastfeeding women, as it can pass through breastmilk. AMBROLITE COLD SYRUP is not recommended for use in children (aged 6 to 11 years) with impaired renal function, and it is used with caution in children and adolescents (aged below 18 years) after consulting the doctor.

The most common side effects of taking AMBROLITE COLD SYRUP are headaches, excessive sleepiness, dry mouth, weakness, and decreased muscle strength. Consult your doctor if any of the side effects worsen.

    Uses Of AMBROLITE COLD SYRUP

    • Provides symptomatic relief for allergic bronchitis (in adults and children aged 6 years and older).
    • Provides symptomatic relief from asthma-associated allergic rhinitis (in adults and children aged 6 years and older)

    How AMBROLITE COLD SYRUP Works

AMBROLITE COLD SYRUP provides symptomatic relief from allergic bronchitis and asthma-associated allergic rhinitis. Ambroxol provides relief from symptoms of allergic bronchitis and rhinitis by thinning and loosening the mucus in the nose, windpipe, and lungs. Levocetirizine provides relief from itching, swelling, and rashes by blocking the effects of a chemical messenger called histamine in the body, which is responsible for producing allergic reactions in the body.

How to use AMBROLITE COLD SYRUP

Take AMBROLITE COLD SYRUP as advised by your physician. Use a measuring cup or spoon to properly measure the dose. Shake well before use. Your doctor will decide the correct dose and duration for you depending on your age, body weight, and disease condition.
