Uses Of AMBRODIL PLUS RF SYRUP

It is used in adults and children above 6 years to manage symptoms of:

    • common cold, flu and allergies (symptoms include includes red, itchy, watery eyes, sneezing, itchy nose, or throat, running nose, blocked or stiffed nose, throat pain, dry cough, sinus block etc.)
    • food allergy, hay fever (seasonal allergy) and insect bite (symptoms such as hives and rashes, itching and swelling)
    • to eliminate (cough out)phlegm in respiratory diseases like pneumonia

How AMBRODIL PLUS RF SYRUP Works

AMBRODIL PLUS RF SYRUP contains ambroxol, chlorpheneramine maleate, and pseudoephedrine. Ambroxol is a mucolytic agent that manages the excess secretion of mucus, lowers phlegm viscosity, and improves the mucociliary transport of bronchial secretions. Thus, it helps in the removal of phlegm associated with respiratory diseases by coughing it out.

Chlorpheniramine is an antihistamine that blocks the effect of histamines (chemicals produced by the body in response to allergens) and manages the release of allergy-causing chemicals that are responsible for the symptoms of itching in the eyes, watery eyes, sneezing, running or blocked nose, and skin rashes. Pseudoephedrine works by reducing the swelling of the blood vessels in the nose. This helps mucus and air movement in the sinuses (the nasal air cavity) and helps people breathe easier.
