Introduction About ALSORBILIV SYRUP
ALSORBILIV SYRUP is a combination of Sorbitol and Tricholine which belongs to the group of medicines called Laxatives and Bile acid binding agents respectively. It is used in the management of constipation, improves appetite and liver functions, normalises intestinal peristalsis movements. ALSORBILIV SYRUP also manages fatty liver disease (accumulation of fat in the liver) and hepatotoxicity.
Before starting the management with ALSORBILIV SYRUP, your doctor might ask you take several diagnostic tests. Before taking ALSORBILIV SYRUP inform your doctor if you have any liver, kidney, lung or heart diseases. Consult your doctor for advice.
ALSORBILIV SYRUP is not recommended for use in pregnant and breast-feeding women. It should not be given to children unless prescribed by a doctor. The most common side effects of taking ALSORBILIV SYRUP are nausea, gas, diarrhoea, stomach cramps, and anal irritation. Consult your doctor’s advice if any of these side effects or persists for a longer duration.

How ALSORBILIV SYRUP Works
ALSORBILIV SYRUP helps in managing constipation and improving various liver conditions where Sorbitol is a Laxative which acts by drawing water from the tissues into the large intestine thus improving the bowel movements and relieving constipation. Tricholine citrate is a bile acid binding agent which shows a fat breakdown action which converts the deposited fat into good cholesterol hence helping in managing fatty liver and improper functioning of liver due to long term damage.

Take ALSORBILIV SYRUP as advised by your physician. Shake well before use. Your doctor will decide the correct dose and duration for you depending upon your age, body weight and disease condition.

How To Manage Side Effects
Bloating
Eat smaller and frequent meals. Eat and drink slow, and exercise regularly. If flatulence does not improve, contact your doctor.
Diarrhea
Drink a lot of fluids, such as fruit juice, water or squash to keep yourself hydrated. Do not consume any medicine by yourself without consulting your doctor. If diarrhea does not improve, consult with your doctor.
Nausea And Vomiting
Take this medicine with, or just after meals. Stick to simple meals. Avoid eating rich or spicy food. If nausea does not improve, consult with your doctor.
Stomach Pain
Try to rest and relax. Try to have smaller and frequent meals or eat and drink slowly. Keep a heat pad on your stomach. If stomach pain does not improve, consult with your doctor.
