How ALSITA M 100 FORTE TABLET Works
ALSITA M 100 FORTE TABLET is an antidiabetic medicine. It contains two medicines, namely metformin and sitagliptin. Additionally, it can stop glucose production by the liver and reduce its absorption in the body. Sitagliptin inhibits DPP-4 which leads to increased levels of glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1) and glucose-dependent insulinotropic polypeptide(GIP), decreased levels of glucagon, and a stronger insulin response to glucose.
