    Introduction About ALPTHRIN SOAP

    ALPTHRIN SOAP contains Permethrin which belongs to the group of medicines called Anti-parasitic agents. It is used for the management of scabies and head lice.

    Scabies is a condition that is caused by tiny insects called mites that infest and irritate the skin. Symptoms include severe itching, especially at nighttime along with raised rash or spots.

    Before applying ALPTHRIN SOAP inform your doctor if you are diagnosed with conditions such as asthma, skin diseases, allergies to certain food, medicines or other substances. This medicine is safe for use in pregnant and breastfeeding women. However, it is recommended to consult your doctor before applying it. It is not recommended for use in children under 2 months of age. Contact your doctor before using. Avoid contact with eyes. If contact occurs wash thoroughly with water. It is for external use only. Your doctor will give the right dose depends on your age, body weight and disease condition. The most common side effects of using this medicine are mild sensation of burning, stinging or tingling, along with skin burns. It is recommended to consult your physician if any of the side effects worsen.

    How ALPTHRIN SOAP Works

    ALPTHRIN SOAP works by paralyzing the mites that results in the killing of the mites along with their eggs that causes scabies. It also kills the head lice which attach to the scalp and irritate it. Hence, ALPTHRIN SOAP is effective in the management of scabies and lice infestation.

    How to use ALPTHRIN SOAP

    Always apply ALPTHRIN SOAP as directed by your physician. It is for external use only. Avoid contact with eyes. Gently rub to produce lather leave it for 5 minutes and then wash thoroughly with water or use as directed by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use.
