INTRODUCTION ABOUT ALDIGESIC P SYRUP
ALDIGESIC P SYRUP is used in pediatric patients to reduce inflammation and provide relief from pain from conditions such as mild migraine, headaches, dental pain, muscle pain, rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, and ankylosing spondylitis. It is also used by pediatric patients to manage fever.
ALDIGESIC P SYRUP is a combination of Aceclofenac and Paracetamol, which belongs to the group of medicines called Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs that work by blocking the action of prostaglandin (chemical messengers responsible for pain, fever, and inflammation), thus reducing fever and providing relief from fever in affected children.
ALDIGESIC P SYRUP is not recommended for use in children allergic to aceclofenac and paracetamol. It is also not recommended for use in children with lung problems (such as asthma), heart problems, kidney problems, and/or liver problems.
ALDIGESIC P SYRUP is not recommended for use in pregnant and breastfeeding women since it is used only in children and adolescents (aged below 18 years). It is also not recommended for use with elderly patients.
The most common side effects of administering ALDIGESIC P SYRUP are diarrhea, indigestion, abdominal pain, nausea, flatulence, constipation, and/or drowsiness. Consult your doctor if any of these symptoms become worse in the child.

HOW TO MANAGE SIDE EFFECTS
Constipation
Increase fiber intake through fruits, vegetables, and whole grains in the child’s diet. Keep the child hydrated by drinking plenty of water. Maintain regular meal times and avoid skipping meals. Exercise regularly to promote bowel movements. Establish a bathroom routine and avoid ignoring the urge to go. Avoid processed foods and prioritize probiotic-rich foods for gut health. Consult your child’s doctor if constipation persists.
Diarrhea
Ask the child to drink lots of fluids, such as water, diluted fruit juices, or oral rehydration solutions, so that the child is sufficiently hydrated. Avoid caffeinated or alcoholic beverages, as they can worsen dehydration. Gradually give bland, low-fiber foods like bananas, rice, applesauce, and toast to help firm up stools. Probiotics, found in yogurt or supplements, may help restore the balance of gut bacteria. Practice good hand hygiene to prevent the spread of infection. Do not administer any medicine to manage the condition. Consult your child’s doctor if the diarrhea does not improve.
Dizziness Or Drowsiness
Ask your child to take a rest and get enough sleep. Provide the child with a glass of fruit juice or water to improve dizziness. Consult your doctor if the dizziness does not improve or becomes worse.
Nausea And Vomiting
Keep the child hydrated by giving small sips of clear fluids like water, ginger ale, or electrolyte solutions. Avoid giving large meals; instead, opt for bland, easy-to-digest foods. Ginger, peppermint, or chamomile tea may help soothe the stomach. Consult your child’s doctor if nausea and vomiting persist.
