Introduction About ALCIUM TABLET
Alcium Tablet is a dietary supplement used to enhance bone calcium deposition in postmenopausal osteoporosis (bone thinning after menopause) and fractures. It contains Calcitriol, Soya Isoflavones, Vitamin K2-7, Calcium Citrate, Calcium Aspartate, and Calcium Orotate as active ingredients that help in increasing the bone mass and strength in post-menopausal women.
Calcitriol aids in absorbing more calcium from food/supplements, regulating the production of parathyroid hormone (responsible for maintaining the balance between calcium and phosphorus in the body), and in strengthening gums and teeth.
Calcium carbonate, Calcium orotate, Calcium citrate and Calcium aspartate facilitate calcium retention and bone accrual which leads to consolidation and maintenance of bone mass and thus managing bone fracture and reducing the risk of osteoporosis.
Soy isoflavones mimic the actions of oestrogen (hormone needed for calcium deposition in the bones) thereby reversing the bone loss in postmenopausal women. Vitamin K2-7 increases the collagen production through bone forming cells and manages deposition of calcium in the arteries thus increasing healthy bone deposits.
Always take Alcium Tablet as advised by the doctor. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Before taking Alcium Tablet, inform your doctor if you have any pre-existing conditions or if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
