    Direction for Use/Dosage

    Your Alan Truman plasma styler is designed to get things done:
    Within the least amount of time With the least heat exposure
    With the least amount of friction and heat-induced damage.
    For the above to be good and true, you need to make sure that you keep the following fundamentals in mind during your hair styling sessions:
    Patience, practice and persistence is key in getting to grips with your hair styling tool. Nothing great happens overnight.
    Understand your styler well before use. Do not rush to use it after watching some random online video.
    Sectioning is the base for any and every great hair style. The better the sectioning the better the results.
    Random sectioning gives your random results.
    Grip is key. Not too tight, But not too loose.

    Hold is fundamental. Hold the straightener one inch away from the plates in a tight grip.
    The right speed of straightening is instrumental. Too fast and you land with a lot of frizz. Too slow and you have roasted hair.
    So remember, well-sectioned hair, straightened at the right speed with the right grip gives you poker straight results. This is the gospel truth for great hair straightening and hair styling.
    Steps to straighten your hair:
    Make sure your hair are dry. Section and pinup your hair based on the type of hair style you want to achieve.
    Use the comb after straightener technique.
    Test try one section of your hair on medium temperature of 180-200°C. Then based on the effect and result desired increase or decrease the temperature for the rest of the styling.
    Take 2.5 inch flat sections and grip them with the straightener and glide them in between the plates. Go gradual. Not too slow. Not too fast.
    Gradual because you need to give time for the heat to style/straighten your hair.
    Repeat the section if required, especially from half of the hair to the tips of the hair.
    Repeat the process across all sections.
    Check for unevenness in between sections and grip them in between the plates and straighten those random and uneven parts.
    Glide the ends of all your hair once at a slow speed to lock in the straightening results.
    Remember, repeated straightening of a section means repeated heat exposure, heat damage and stress and strain on hair.
    So the idea is to work correctly on each section and get it right the first time itself. If you don't get it right the first time you are damaging your hair more than styling them.
